Silent Shouts is the working agency name. The legal operator, business address and direct privacy contact must be confirmed before this preview is used for customer enquiries. These notices must also be checked against the final hosting, email and business arrangements.
1. About these terms
This website introduces Silent Shouts and its proposed website design and hosting services. The legal supplier’s identity, business address and applicable registration information must be confirmed before trading. The information here is an invitation to discuss a project. Submitting a form does not create a service contract.
2. Using the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes, including reviewing our work and making genuine enquiries. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the site, submit unlawful material or misuse forms. We may restrict access where reasonably needed to protect the service.
3. Portfolio and third-party content
The portfolio includes our own brand and design projects. Some elements are design concepts or previews rather than operational services. Screenshots show a captured version and are not a warranty of performance, availability or functionality. The brands and third-party materials belong to their respective rights holders. External websites have their own terms.
4. Proposals and scope
Any engagement requires an accepted written proposal or order specifying the supplier, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, review rounds, timescales, price, taxes and payment terms. The project-specific agreement takes priority over general service descriptions where they differ. Changes to scope, integrations or additional revisions require written agreement on the resulting cost and timescale before we proceed.
5. Prices and payment
Published prices are indicative GBP starting prices for the described scope. The proposed design payment schedule is 40% on acceptance, 30% after design approval and 30% before launch or handover, subject to the written agreement. Deposits are applied to the agreed work. Cancellation charges must reflect work properly performed and reasonable, unavoidable commitments, subject to your statutory rights. Third-party charges and renewals must be identified before commitment. No online payment is taken on this site.
6. Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for timely instructions, approvals and accurate business content. You must have permission to use the logos, text, images, personal data and other materials you supply. You remain responsible for the legality of your services, sales terms, claims and use of personal data. We will agree what assistance is included with content, accessibility and privacy notices.
7. Delivery, review and launch
Dates depend on agreed scope, content, access and feedback. We will notify you of material delays and agree a revised plan. We will provide the review opportunities in your proposal. Launch requires your approval and satisfaction of the agreed payment milestones. Your agreement should specify acceptance criteria, defect reporting and any correction period.
8. Ownership and licences
The project agreement will identify the original deliverables transferred to you after full payment and any retained pre-existing tools or components. Third-party platforms, software, images, fonts and plugins remain governed by their licences. We will explain material portability restrictions before commitment. Portfolio permission for any new client project must be agreed separately.
9. Hosting and maintenance
Hosting is optional. The pricing page shows introductory hosting offers, including their term, upfront price, tax and renewal costs. The provider’s own billing and cancellation terms apply to that purchase. Any Silent Shouts management or care service requires a separate agreed schedule covering the hosting provider, domain responsibility, storage and traffic allowances, support hours, backups, restoration, updates, security responsibilities, renewal charges and exit arrangements. Published response targets are aims during UK business hours, not guaranteed recovery times. We do not promise uninterrupted operation. Cancellation, notice periods and any included edit time for agency care are set out in your written quote; they do not override the hosting provider’s fixed-term charges.
10. Data processing
If we process personal data on your behalf, a suitable data processing agreement must be in place before that processing begins. It must address instructions, security, confidentiality, subprocessors, international transfers, assistance, return or deletion and audit arrangements. Our own enquiry handling is described in the privacy policy.
11. Suspension, termination and handover
The service agreement will set out fair suspension and termination provisions, notice and opportunities to remedy breaches where appropriate. Handover arrangements must address supplied assets, available exports, access, outstanding fees, third-party licences and a reasonable migration plan. We will not assume permission to retain client personal data indefinitely.
12. Responsibility and limitations
We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill. Any agreed liability cap or exclusions must be set out in the signed service agreement and be fair and lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
13. Consumer customers
The website is mainly aimed at business clients. If you contract as a consumer, applicable consumer protections, pre-contract information and cancellation rights must be provided before purchase. Where a statutory cooling-off period applies, starting work during it requires the appropriate express request and information; it is not waived merely by submitting an enquiry.
14. The 10% local build-price promise
Before placing an order, send a genuine written quote dated within the last 30 days from a trading agency that serves Melton Mowbray. We will compare the same build deliverables, page count, design approach, content provision, integrations, review rounds, ownership and handover. Your matching build quote will be 90% of the comparable competitor build price, with the same VAT treatment. Compulsory project charges are included in the comparison; bundled ongoing fees must be identified so they are not mistaken for a build discount. Hosting, domains, third-party licences and ongoing services are quoted separately and are excluded from this build-price reduction. A reduced scope must be clearly identified rather than presented as a matching quote. Free, barter, erroneous or unverified quotes are not eligible. The offer is confirmed in a written proposal before work starts and is not a claim that we have surveyed every agency.
15. Questions, complaints and law
Contact us through the contact form with any question or complaint so we can investigate and seek a practical resolution. The proposed governing law is England and Wales, with jurisdiction as agreed in the contract and subject to mandatory consumer protections. These website terms were last updated on 4 November 2026.
